Protect and Save the Children Association (P.S. the Children) is a non-profit organization that envisions a supportive society that protects the rights and dignity of every child from sexual abuse and exploitation.
Our goal is to educate and provide vision, leadership and advocacy in order to create safer community by establishing effective preventive education, strengthening treatment, support services and building partnership.
We are currently recruiting the followings,
 
Training and Education Executive
 
We are looking for people who:
  • Possess a strong command of Bahasa  Malaysia and English, both written and spoken.
  • Are able to focus on task at hand, yet remain flexible.
  • Have the drive to deal with demanding workload.
  • Effectively communicate and engage with people.
  • Have good presentation skills.
  • Are willing to learn, and are receptive to feedback and continuous improvement.
  • Are confident, proactive and take initiative.
  • Are able to work in a team and individually.
  • Have previous experience in training, working with children or talking to groups of people or mentoring, is necessary
  • Have the ability to design training curriculum.
  • Must be willing to travel, work irregular hours and weekends frequently.
Responsibilities: 
  • Facilitate Personal Safety workshops for children aged 5 - 17 years
  • Provide resource information and support to schools, partners and relevant agencies
  • Conduct workshops with adults on child rights and dynamics of child sexual abuse
  • Conduct teacher's training to adults
  • Produce a detailed and timely documentation of all workshops, meeting, seminars and conferences given and/or attended
  • Prepare monthly activity report
  • Participate in designing and developing curriculum
  • Participate in relevant training for personal growth and development
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Psychology/Education/Teaching/Training, Others or equivalent
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English
  • Fluency in Mandarin or Tamil is an advantage
  • Minimum 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Petaling Jaya
  • Preferably Executives specializing in Education or equivalent
  • Must be able to assume responsibilities and work independently
  • Must be skilled in facilitating sessions with children and engaging adults in interactive workshops
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Must be able to speak freely on topics on sensitif topic, sexuality and the details of prevention of child sexual abuse
  • Must display a highly developed sense of cultural sensitivity
